Iceland Golden Circle One-Day Tour Iceland Golden Circle Attractions Tickets Locations Dining Guide

Iceland is a charming island country.

The climate here is cold, but due to the mountainous geography, some areas have spring-like weather all year round.

The cultural characteristics here inherit the elements of England, and many delicious foods and beautiful scenery are waiting for you to explore and discover.

Here is a detailed introduction to the one-day trip to Iceland’s Golden Circle.

We agreed to visit two scenic spots left behind by the Golden Circle at this time.

The hotel would start serving breakfast at 8, so we were optimistic that the return time would be just right.

There are three attractions on the regular Golden Circle route.

If you want to go diving in Silfra, or go to other attractions, and you are not the kind of person who sleeps in the car and gets off to take pictures, then one day is not enough.

Just like us, we didn’t have time to go to the Geysers and Gullfoss yesterday.

At 4:15, the alarm clock rang on time.

After brushing your teeth and washing your face, look outside the room.

The ground was wet and it was raining lightly.

The pony crawled on the distant lawn, its mother grazing nearby.

There is a bird on the left and right sides of the wooden table, and the ultra-miniature one is on the left.

At 5 o'clock, when we set off on time, the rain had stopped.

A few minutes after driving out of the hotel, I suddenly saw this picture.

The slanting sunlight was not strong, and there was morning mist floating on the road, making it feel like a fairyland.

Before I even had time to call for a car to take pictures, I had already arrived at the destination of my trip.

What I saw before was not the morning mist at all, but the heat emanating from the geothermal heat.

Geysir Geysir is a hot spring that erupts intermittently, mostly located in areas with active volcanic activity.

In volcanic areas, the hot lava will increase the temperature of the water in the surrounding strata and even turn into water vapor. When it encounters cracks in the rock formation, it will rise along the cracks.

When the temperature drops below the vaporization point, it condenses into very high temperature water.

The accumulated water, as well as the groundwater in the upper part of the formation, will rise to the ground along the cracks in the formation, erupting at regular intervals to form geysers.

Geysir means treasure spring in Icelandic and is one of the famous geysers in the world.

We were supposed to be the first tourists.

This is an open area with no walls and no entrance fee.

In fact, almost all natural landscapes in Iceland are free, except for the Kaili Crater.

We parked in the parking lot at the entrance to the visitor center.

The sun is like a naughty child, sometimes hiding in the clouds, sometimes emerging from the clouds.

No, it’s only a few dozen meters from the parking lot to the attraction on the opposite side.

I feel tired for him as the sun fades in and out.

Brush away your figure in the sun, here we come.

Rain moves in the sun.

The ground is covered with pink flowers.

Not all geysers are constantly erupting.

When the conditions for its ejection are lost, it is just a puddle of water or a piece of land.

Like the biggest geyser here, its name is Geyser.

It has fallen into a deep sleep.

Because there is a layer of soil about 20 centimeters thick covering the old siliceous layer, the geyser will not erupt again.

Stoke Geyser is the only geyser here that still erupts regularly.

Every eight minutes or so, the jet sprays two or three times in succession, and the water column can reach a maximum of 20 meters.

Strokkur shoots forward.

While we were watching the scenery, it suddenly sprayed in front of us, suddenly became excited and rushed over.

Waiting for the next flight there.

The most famous geyser scenic spot is not the huge water column that erupts, nor the high frequency of eruption every few minutes, but the 0.5 second blue pearl bubble that is about to erupt.

Many people stay here for a long time just to capture that wonderful 0.5 seconds.

I didn't get the best results.

We waited for it to erupt several times to get the best shots, as it didn't always reach 20 meters high, and a few times it shyly only dropped a few meters.

At that moment of waiting, all of us were like sculptures, motionless, and the one who raised his hand was tired.

But I still had to hold it up for fear that I wouldn’t be able to capture the entire spraying process.

Every outbreak is not without warning.

Energy is also brewing.

A few seconds before you spray, you'll see it start to stir.

You may ask, you can't wait for it to become agitated before raising the camera to take pictures.

In theory, this can be done, but on site, we are afraid that it will be too late if we are not careful.

It’s taking photos and videos.

I'm really busy!

I originally wanted to bring a camera with me on this trip, but then I decided it was too busy, so I didn’t bring it.

Fortunately, I didn't.

Xiao Yan, she took videos of each scenic spot with her mobile phone, which inspired me a lot.

If you go out next time, be sure to put a sling on your phone and hang it around your neck.

Taking video is very convenient.

If you haven’t been there yet, and if you like taking photos but don’t want to miss videos, this method should be a good idea.

The surface temperature here was very high during the entire spraying process, and a heat warning sign stood there.

The sunshine adds a touch of charm to the place.

A bit like the water in Jiuzhaigou.

Blesi means flame in Icelandic.

The turquoise color is eye-catching.

It once spewed out water jets one meter high.

It can be seen from relevant records from the last century that the water spewed out of Blesi formed a stream. Blesi was composed of two basins on a piece of land split by a fire.
