Anyuan District Maternal and Child Health Hospital was founded in March 1981. Its original site is located in the urban center of Pingxiang City. Its predecessor was Chengguan District Maternal and Child Health Care Center (later changed to Anyuan District Maternal and Child Health Care Center). In 2006, it was upgraded to Anyuan District Maternal and Child Health Care Center with the approval of the District Editorial Committee.
