Ouhai district Panqiao Street is located in the southwest of Wenzhou City, Zhejiang Province. Named after the resident Panqiao (village). The "Yongjia County Records" in Guangxu period of Qing Dynasty recorded that the village had "Renshou".

This bridge was built by Jinshi Pan in Song Dynasty, hence the name Pan Bridge. Later generations commemorate Pan, and the place name bridge is named after Pan Bridge. Although it has been repaired many times, it has been well preserved so far. It was the17th capital of Jianya Township in Yongjia County in Qing Dynasty. During the Republic of China, it was the fourth Huichang Town in Yongjia County, and later renamed as Bi Xia and Hexi Township. People's Republic of China (PRC) (PRC) was called Panqiao Township and Maqiao Township at the beginning of the founding of the People's Republic of China, which belongs to Sanxi District of Yongjia.
