Cucurbita pepo leaves alternate, palmately 5-7-lobed, about 18-20cm long and 20-25cm wide, with serrated edges, dark green leaves, green back and fluff on both sides.

Wax gourd leaves are kidney-shaped, nearly round, and about 15-30 cm wide. The surface is dark green, and it will fall off when it is old until it is hairless. The back is grayish white with rough bristles.

2. Fruit differences

Zucchini is a long or short cylindrical fruit with thick green, yellow-green or green skin and shallow longitudinal grooves or star-shaped green and white spots on the surface.

Wax gourd is nearly spherical or cylindrical, about 20-30 cm long, about 10-25 cm in diameter, light green or dark green in color, with hoarfrost and bristles on the surface.
