Normal eggs are oval or oval, and eggs that do not conform to the normal shape are deformed eggs. Deformed eggs are easy to be damaged during storage and transportation. If it is used as an egg, the hatching rate will drop, and even chickens will not hatch.

Common abnormal eggs mainly include double yellow eggs (or multi-yellow eggs), non-yellow eggs, soft-shell eggs (or shell-less eggs), foreign-body eggs, abnormal eggs and so on.

There are many reasons for the formation of abnormal eggs, mainly due to incomplete feeding in feed, improper feeding management or parasitic diseases in hens (Table 3).
