Glutinous rice (Latin name: Semnostachya menglaensis H. P. Tsui.), Jenniferaceae, Glutinous rice, herbaceous plants, 0.5-1 meters high. Branches 4-angled, strigillose, glabrous, plants drying with glutinous rice aroma. Leaves opposite, often unequal in size, petiole up to 2 cm, hispidulous, leaf blade elliptic, long elliptic or ovate, up to 18.5 cm, 6 cm wide, apex acute, base cuneate-decurrent or occasionally rounded, both surfaces sparsely hispidulous, densely so on the veins, stalactites conspicuous above, lateral veins 5-6 pairs, curved to the margins, margins crenate. It is distributed in Yunnan Province, China.
