The following picture shows Pelteobagrus fulvidraco (young fish), commonly known as Huanggucong, Huangyatou, Wenggong fish, Gangzhen, Geai, Zhigaoai, Huangcigong, Gea, Geding, Huanglading, Gayazi, Onyx, Huangqi fish, Huangguyu, Huangtoothfish and Huangtoothfish.
Huangpi has a long body, a flat abdomen, a slightly flat back part and a large flat head. Blunt snout, cracked mouth, inferior. The upper jaw is slightly longer than the lower jaw, and both the upper and lower jaws have fine hairs and teeth. Small eyes, lateral position, slightly raised septum. There must be 4 pairs, the nose must reach the posterior edge of the eye, and the maxilla must be the longest, reaching the back of the pectoral fin base. There are two pairs of beards, the outside one is longer than the inside one. The back of the body is dark brown, the side is yellow and there are three intermittent black stripes. The pectoral fin is slightly fan-shaped and the end is close to the ventral fin. Lipid fin is shorter than gluteal fin, with free end and starting point opposite to gluteal fin. The food is fierce. There is a great difference in color between male and female, and the dark yellow Pelteobagrus fulvidraco has a slight poison on its head.
