Will eating baked gluten make you fat?
It won't get fat, but it can't be used to lose weight. Eating too much will lead to uneven nutrition.
Gluten is a special protein food which is made by kneading flour in water and removing the slurry. It can be divided into three types: water gluten, fried gluten and baked bran. After flour is made into gluten, the nutritional value is improved. The contents of protein in oil gluten, baked bran and water gluten are 29.0, 24.2 and 22.4 grams per 100 grams, respectively, which are only lower than soybeans, but significantly higher than cereals, pigs, cattle and mutton. But the fat (except gluten) and carbohydrate are obviously lower than those of soybeans and other pasta. Although the contents of inorganic salts such as calcium, phosphorus and iron in gluten are lower than those in soybeans, they are all higher than those in cattle, sheep, pork and other cereals.
Is baked gluten high in calories?
Gluten is the protein in flour. Add a proper amount of water and a little salt to the flour, stir well to form dough, and then rub it repeatedly with clear water to wash off all the starch and other impurities in the dough, leaving gluten. Baked gluten has high energy, so it is not recommended to eat it regularly.
If it is baked gluten, the calories will be higher. After all, baked gluten sauce or various seasoning powders are added to the baked gluten, so although the baked gluten is delicious, it should be moderate to avoid excessive consumption. For example, it is easy to get fat if you eat a few strings of food every day! Plus baked gluten is roasted, which is not good for health.
The practice of baking gluten
1, knead the high-gluten flour with water into dough with a relatively smooth surface and divide it into small dough the size of an egg.
2. After kneading the dough into thin strips, put one end of the gluten in the middle of chopsticks and wrap the gluten around the chopsticks until it is finished. Or knead the dough into thin strips, insert long bamboo sticks or chopsticks and cut into spirals.
3. Put water into the pot, boil it and put the dough into it to cook. In the process of cooking, keep stirring until the dough floats up, then take it out and soak it in cold water.
4. Bake the bamboo sticks or chopsticks with gluten on a charcoal fire or in an oven, sprinkle seasoning such as Chili powder and cumin powder on them, and bake until golden.
nutritional ingredient
The nutritional components of gluten, especially the content of protein, are higher than those of lean pork, chicken, eggs and most bean products. It is a food with high protein, low fat, low sugar and low calorie, and also contains many trace elements such as calcium, iron, phosphorus and potassium.
