The Victorian era refers to the period from 1837 to 190 1, that is, the reign of Queen Victoria. The late Victorian era was the peak of the British Industrial Revolution and the British Empire. This long-term peace and prosperity further refined the rational development of Britain and consolidated the national confidence of the British Empire.
