F4) Most northerners have never seen the power of a typhoon. Before coming to Xiamen, they should pay attention to the weather forecast. During the typhoon, it usually takes about 5 days, and flight delays, storms, traffic disruptions, road water accumulation, and even water and electricity cuts are all possible. Be careful that billboards or branches of outdoor machines such as flowerpots and air conditioners fall on the streets and hurt people. Every year, typhoons are predicted to be facing Xiamen many times, but the results are often near misses. The citizens think that Zheng Chenggong's stone statue on Gulangyu Island is protecting Xiamen.
G: scenic spots
G 1) Gulangyu Island is only 5 minutes away from Xiamen Island by intensive ferry. Sunlight Rock is the symbol of Xiamen, with many tourists and good scenery. In fact, the old villas along Zhangzhou Road are the most attractive in Gulangyu Island, because Gulangyu Island used to be a concession, with consulates from all over the world in architectural style, and all of them are classical structures in the 1930s, which are very nostalgic and worth spending a few days savoring. Some old villas have also been converted into family hotels, and living in them has a unique flavor. Xiamen Museum itself is a classic building, also called Bagua Building. There are often organ exhibitions in it, which have a strong artistic and humanistic atmosphere, and the scenery is good, and there are not many tourists, which is relatively clean.
G2) Although there are not many exotic flowers and plants in the Botanical Garden, the overall vegetation is well maintained. In particular, the Baihua Hall inside is not as beautiful as Suzhou Garden, but it is also winding and secluded, which is refreshing and pleasant even in summer. There are many gardens with different themes in the Botanical Garden, which are suitable for resting and enjoying while climbing the mountain, and also suitable for philandering.
G3) The Garden Expo Park is located on the offshore shore of the island, about15km away from the city center. It is a collection of horticultural and architectural masterpieces from all over the country and even the world, and there is also a large-scale waterfront music fountain performance in the evening. It takes at least 2 days to visit it completely, which is worth savoring. I really don't have time to take a tour in a battery car. Half a day is enough.
G4) The incense in Nanputuo Temple is flourishing. During the Guanyin Christmas three times a year, there are crowds of people from the evening. The buildings in the temple have a long history and the statues are solemn. Vegetarian dishes taste good, and vegetarian pies are made of green materials, which are suitable for tea or gifts to relatives and friends. Next to the temple is Xiamen University, which is known as the most beautiful university campus in China. It is surrounded by mountains and seas, and there are two beautiful lakes, which are very suitable for serious study or love affairs.
G5) Jimei aoyuan is the mausoleum of Mr. Chen Jiageng, and its site selection, layout, stone carving and other details all reflect the general public's admiration for him, and it is also a treasure of architectural art in southern Fujian. Chen Jiageng, the flag of patriotic overseas Chinese in modern times, has always been an idol admired by thousands of people in Xiamen. He donated the nearby Jimei School Village and Xiamen University on the island, but his personal life is simple, which is very suitable for businessmen to remember and study. Tourists often complain about the uncivilized behavior of vendors and businesses at the entrance, and it is recommended not to shop or eat here.
G6) There are many small scenic spots in Xiamen, such as Hulishan Fort, Bailuzhou Park, Haicang Wildlife Park, Ocean Park, etc. From my point of view, it is not the best among the cities in China, but I might as well visit it if I have enough time.
H: suggested itinerary
The following are all based on 2 days and 2 nights. If you have enough time, you can do them all at once or combine them freely. It is strongly suggested that you should not be in a hurry like a common tour group in Xiamen, and you should not see every scenic spot. We should give priority to leisure and relaxation, sleep until we wake up naturally, and then decide where to go. When we are tired on the way, we should relax nearby or temporarily change our route.
H 1) Fresh route: 16:00, after arriving in Xiamen, go to A 'ai food stall for dinner, after dinner, take a 20-minute walk to Bailuzhou to watch the night scene, have coffee at Coffee Street, and go back to the hotel on Gulangyu Island to sleep around 22 o'clock. After waking up naturally in the morning, I will have breakfast at Wuzaitian snack bar, then climb the mountain from the Botanical Garden to Nanputuo, take a walk on the campus of Xiamen University after eating vegetarian food at noon, massage at Zhenyuantang around1-2 hours, eat Haishan bone soup at Jiali in Bay Park in the evening, and go back to Gulangyu for a walk and rest after dinner. After getting up in the morning, visit Sunguangyan, ancient buildings, museums or stroll on Gulangyu Island, and fly back in the afternoon.
H2) Couple's route:11:00 After arriving in Xiamen, stay in Zeng CuO 'an, Huandao Road, remember food stalls or Jiali's lunch, after dinner, take the wooden plank road at the seaside for 3 kilometers to soak in the hot spring in Shanhai Love Cabin, and then watch the sunset at the seaside. For dinner, go to Yazhu to eat octopus, frozen bamboo shoots and so on. After dinner, I stopped by Hexiang West Road to go shopping and eat Slime shaved ice. Get up early and watch the sunrise at the seaside. After eating four miles of Satay Noodles, go to Nanputuo to visit the campus of Xiamen University. After lunch break, go to the Garden Expo Park and watch the fountain performance in the garden at 7: 00 p.m., then go back to Xiamen to 180 1 bar. After the bar, go to eat grilled fish from the Three Kingdoms. Go to the airport after waking up naturally.
H3) Golf route:18: 00, stay at Days Hotel Fuyou after arriving in Xiamen, take a walk directly to Jiali in the opposite Bay Park for dinner, then walk to Fuqiao Foot Bath in Overseas Chinese Seaview City after dinner, return to Jinzun nightclub in the park at 22: 00, and take beautiful women to have a snack after drinking. After getting up at 1 1 in the morning, take a speedboat downstairs to Nantai Wuda 18 Cave. /kloc-Go back to Xiamen around 0/7 to fry dried beancurd in Baijia Village, and then go to the small bar street behind Marco Polo Hotel. At 8 o'clock in the morning, I will play 18 hole in the east of Haicang, drink Tulong soup in Haicang at noon, go to the hot spring in Riyuegu in the afternoon and go to the airport at night.
H4) Pet route: It is best to bring dogs to Xiamen by car, and it is best to avoid high temperature by air transportation. Xiamen Airlines is an aerobic cabin with good service. Implement a pet-friendly hotel. Zeng CuO 'an is the best and the beach is close. Generally, there are open-air restaurants or cafes that can take dogs to eat. If you find acquaintances, you can take dogs to nightclubs or bars. You'd better call first to confirm. Dogs are not allowed on big ferries. You can take dogs from the ferry side to Gulangyu by speedboat and take pictures of the sea scenery. 50 yuan is very frequent on each ferry, and it will arrive at18: 00 at the latest. There are no cars on Gulangyu Island, so dogs can let go. You can take a small wooden boat back to Xiamen Island at night. Huandao Road and Dongping Mountain are suitable for walking dogs. Many farmers on the roadside specially recruit strawberries, and they can take dogs with them, but they should take good care to prevent them from becoming "stepping on" strawberries. Don't take dogs to crowded areas such as Zhongshan Road in shopping malls. Be careful not to let dogs affect others and clean up the dog's excrement in time. Carry a dog card with you. Generally, urban management will not be embarrassed if they see a dog card in other places.
In a word, Xiamen is an inclusive and elegant city. Self-cultivation, amorous feelings, sports and leisure, philandering, eating and drinking, and being addicted to money can all develop harmoniously here.
