2. Shopping in ethnic shopping malls: on Jokhang Temple Square Road. When you get here, look around and find the franchise cabinet, that is, the counter that only sells one or two items (for example, combs, this counter only sells combs and doesn't sell other items)
This kind of counter belongs to wholesale. Generally, we don't lie about the price, cheat people or bargain. I'll sell you one or two pieces, and I won't bargain for 100 pieces. More realistic.
3. Shopping in the scenic spots outside the city: This should be the most careful, and it is easy to be pitted, such as the fossils of Mount Everest and stone items. What is not sold in other places is sold here, but the asking price is very high. If you don't lower the price, you like it again. If you buy it on impulse, you will be cheated. . .
4. Tip:
1) Two ways to make a counter-offer: divide by four (for example, 158 yuan, divide by 58, 100 and divide by four = 25 yuan).
10% of the asking price (for example, 100, 10%= 10 yuan).
Don't be embarrassed, you will be killed if you want to face it. . . Hehe, that's a little rough.
2) Choose the type of shopping: except Thangka, Tibetan Dao, bone (horn) products, Tibetan incense, Tibetan medicine and fossils (only fossils), all other items (especially small handicrafts) are from the mainland (Yiwu), India and Nepal.
Enter Tibet. If you buy exotic goods, you will buy them. It's really sad to buy small commodities in Yiwu.
3) There are two special items to mention here: turquoise and Tibetan carpet.
Turquoise, mostly fake, is usually dyed with cement. Among them, tens of yuan a gram should be genuine, but we are not 100% sure. We are all ordinary people, not geologists and antique brick makers, so we suggest being cautious before buying.
Tibetan carpet, asking a wild price, true and false is unknown, it is recommended to be cautious before buying.
4) It is recommended to buy Thangka, buy it back in the mainland and hang it at home, which attracts guests' attention.
There is a Tangka shop with a yellow plaque on Bajiao Street. I forget its name. It is said that it is the first Tangka shop in Tibet. After visiting other Tangka shops, you will find that this shop has the best workmanship.
Remember to make a counter-offer, too. If the price is 2000, I will make a counter-offer to 1200.
All of the above are personal experiences. If there is anything wrong, please give me advice.
