In addition to growing in soil, you can also preserve them through hydroponics. You can fill a glass vessel with water and place the sprouted onions on top. Be careful not to let all the water submerge it; generally, you can submerge about a third of the onion.

Precautions for planting onions:

It is recommended that you choose seeds that are bright in color, full and of high quality. Watering is important when planting onions, which should be watered when they have three leaves. It is recommended that you water once a week, but do not water in the winter when it is too cold or the onions will rot. Onions are also more prone to pests and diseases, so we need to regularly carry out the work of deworming. Onions are common mildew, blight, we use chlorothalonil or Bordeaux liquid for spraying to get rid of insects.
