Chinese medicine mingshanxiang
Alias hairy tiger, mountain mint and false agastache
The source is Hyptis suaveolens (L.) Poir. of Alpinia of Labiatae, and the whole herb is used as medicine. Harvest in summer and autumn, dry in the shade or use fresh.
Sexual taste is bitter, bitter and flat.
Efficacy is mainly used to dispel wind and promote diuresis, promote qi circulation and dissipate blood stasis. Used for colds, headaches, gastroenteritis, dysentery and abdominal distension; External use for treating traumatic swelling and pain, traumatic bleeding, carbuncle, sore poison, insect and snake bite, eczema and dermatitis.
Usage and dosage 9 ~15g. Appropriate amount for external use, fresh grass pounded or fried and washed.
Application examples
① Pleurisy and hydronephrosis: 9~ 12g, pig lung. (.Pig lungs must be watered and squeezed before use, and washed several times before stewing medicine. )
② Colds: Mangosteen 15g, Butterflies 1.5g, Cucurbita moschata, Centella asiatica, Hedyotis asiatica each 9g, and Artemisia argyi 6g. Decoct with water and concentrate into 200ml, each time 100ml, twice a day.
