Step 1: Collect materials, print out a full-size beard template, cut it out and nail it on two pieces of felt.
Step 2: Cut out the felt with the template as the guide, and make 2 pieces for each piece. Put everything together. Put your beard aside until step five.
Step 3: Connect the ribbon connector to the upper left corner and the upper left corner of the felt beard respectively, and clamp the ribbon between the felt as shown in the figure. You can sew it between two layers of beards by hand, or you can sew an X pattern on the ribbon and felt back by machine.
Step 4: sew along the outer edge of the larger felt, leaving about 1/8 inches along the outer edge. This can be sewn by hand or by machine.
Step 5: Remove the thread from the larger beard piece, nail the beard piece to the beard, and ensure that the top of the beard is sandwiched between the sides of the beard. Try to keep the beard between the two tops. Fix the beard in place, sew along the edge of the beard, and pay attention to sew all the layers where the two panels meet firmly.
Step 6: When the beard is finished, check the scattered thread ends, trim the messy edges and give it a try.
