Things you cannot eat in Halal include pork and its products, raptors in birds, scaly fish in seafood, alcohol and alcoholic beverages, and blood and its products.
1. Pork and its products
According to the Islamic Shariah, pigs are regarded as unclean animals, so pork and its products (such as sausages, ham, etc.) are forbidden.
2. Raptors among birds
Raptors among birds (such as eagles, buzzards, etc.) are considered unclean according to the Islamic Shariah and are therefore not allowed to be consumed.
3. Scaleless fish among seafood
Fish permitted to be eaten in Halal food must be scaly, while scaly fish (such as eel, eel, etc.) are considered unclean and therefore cannot be eaten.
4. Alcohol and Alcoholic Beverages
The Islamic Shari'ah explicitly prohibits the consumption of any beverage containing alcohol, including beer, wine and other alcoholic beverages.
5. Blood and its products
The Shari'ah considers blood to be impure and therefore it is not permissible to consume the blood of any animal or its products.
