Clinically, it is difficult to cure hernia with conservative treatment. The correct method is surgical treatment. The method is as follows.

1. Preparation before surgery, fasting for one day, local hair shearing and disinfection.

2. To restrain the cow, it is usually done by lying on its side.

3. Anesthesia, use 5% chloral hydrate for general anesthesia, or paralumbar nerve conduction anesthesia, and local infiltration anesthesia.

4. Return the contents to the abdominal cavity, lift the hernia sac and then incise the hernia sac. If adhesion occurs, peel carefully.

5. If the embedded intestinal tube is necrotic, remove it, perform intestinal anastomosis, and then insert it.

6. First sew the hernia wheel, apply penicillin, then sew the muscles, apply penicillin, and finally sew the skin.

7. Postoperative treatment: intravenously inject 10 to 20 ml of 10% sodium caffeine, 50 ml of vitamin C, 1500 ml of 10% glucose, and 1000 ml of normal saline for 3 days.
