Can spinach be hydroponic?
Spinach can be cultivated by hydroponics or soil. Hydroponics has strict requirements for seeds, so it is necessary to select qualified plants suitable for hydroponics. At the same time, hydroponics needs careful maintenance and complicated technology. Compared with soil culture, the method is simple and the culture process is easier.
Spinach hydroponic cultivation method
1. Variety selection
When hydroponic spinach is cultivated, it is necessary to strictly screen varieties and choose different varieties according to the season. For example, we must choose heat-resistant varieties in summer and plants with strong cold tolerance in winter, so that plants selected in different seasons will grow faster.
Step 2 accelerate germination
When hydroponic spinach is cultivated, seeds need to germinate. In summer and autumn, seeds need to be soaked for about a week before sowing, then put in the refrigerator for cold storage, and then germinate at a temperature of about 20 to 25 degrees.
Matters needing attention in hydroponic spinach
1. Seedling raising
After accelerating germination, hydroponic spinach needs to be raised. It is best to choose a sponge with sufficient moisture and put it in a place where there is no direct sunlight, so as to avoid drying the sponge and causing plant death. You can stick a layer of wet paper on it to keep it moist.
Step 2: Nutrient solution
When hydroponics spinach, drop nutrient solution, and the concentration of nutrient solution should not be too high. In the late growth stage of hydroponic spinach, the concentration of nutrient solution can be increased to avoid nutritional deficiency when spinach grows vigorously.
