The surface of the float is coated with fish bladder glue, commonly known as yellow fish glue. The main component of the glue obtained after processing the yellow swim bladder is raw glue. The viscosity is very high and the gelling strength exceeds that of ordinary animal glue. It is good for wood products. The adhesion effect is particularly good. The advantage is that the freezing concentration is low 0..5 to 0.6. The disadvantage is that the freezing point is also low 15 to 16. Make sure that the entire surface of the float is coated with glue and do not miss it.
Floating glue production
To remove the fur wax rod, first take a section of the wax rod. It is best to choose a rounder one. Select the material according to the type of floating you want to do. If you want to make jujube pits, choose a thicker one. Yes, for sensitive bleaching, choose a thinner one. The one I am going to make for date pits is too thin and I only have this one on hand. It is the thickest. After taking the materials, grind both ends flat on 400 grit emery cloth and then use a utility blade to cut off the wax rod. Remove the skin, and polish the peeled material on an emery cloth to round the middle part that will be used as the date stone.
Be careful to cut the material into two halves of the same size from one end to the other. My material is not very round, so I have to choose a wide position and cut it into two halves. It is recommended to cut one end into two halves. Mark the two halves and polish them on a 400-grit emery cloth. It is best to place the emery cloth on a flat surface and grind the edges. Merge the two halves to see if they are round. Place the carbon feet on the two halves of the material and select the number. Press the center position to make a mark.
