Wang Wei (701-761), courtesy name Mojie, was a famous poet in the prosperous Tang Dynasty. He was an official to the rank of Shangshu Youcheng and was originally from Qi (now Qi County, Shanxi Province). , moved to Puzhou (now Yongji, Shanxi), believed in Buddhism, and lived in Wangchuan Villa, Lantian, in his later years, Han nationality.
