Oxalis is a perennial herb of Oxalis family, which is clustered and 15 to 20 cm high. It blooms continuously in spring, summer and autumn, and it blooms most vigorously in spring and autumn when it is cool.
Oxalis is widely used in landscaping because of its low height, fast growth, long flowering period and spectacular flowering period.
Oxalis likes sunny, warm and humid environment, and hot areas in summer should be shaded. Strong drought resistance, but not cold tolerance. Greenhouse cultivation is needed in winter in the north, and it can stand in the open south of the Yangtze River.
Oxalis grows vigorously in sandy loam rich in humus, and there will be a short dormant period in summer.
Oxalis grows sturdily, and its lower part has poor light transmittance. It is prone to powdery mildew at high temperature and high humidity, and its leaves will turn yellow and moldy. Fungicides such as triadimefon and thiophanate can be sprayed regularly.
At the beginning of May every year, the red spider began to harm Oxalis. Because of its dense leaves and poor ventilation, attention should be paid to prevention and control.
