Brief introduction of toffee apple
Toffee apples are a traditional food in Britain on Halloween. They were introduced to Japan during the Meiji Restoration and often appeared in Japanese cartoons. Therefore, they are often mistaken for Japanese food and called "apple candy" among Japanese fans. Toffee apples were originally gifts given to children by adults following the custom of "trick or treat" on Halloween night, but later there were many incidents in which people added blades to apples, which caused the custom of giving apples to disappear gradually. Traditional toffee apples are coated with toffee, and the raw materials have become increasingly diversified. The most common ones are nuts, chocolate beans, cream caramel and preserved fruits.
