Xunwei Shunde, also known as Shunde on the Tip of the Tongue, is a documentary film directed by Liu Shuo and Fei Xuanming, and jointly produced by CCTV Record Channel and Foshan TV Shunde Branch. It will be broadcast on CCTV Record Channel at 20:00 every night from April 30th to May 2nd, 20 16.

The film tells the story of Shunde people and shows the past and present of the land and water. This paper introduces the efforts of Shunde people on food and beyond, and the craftsman spirit of Shunde people is behind countless Shunde legends. Through the attitude of people here to expect an ordinary home-cooked meal, we can see their outlook on life and values.

"Looking for Shunde" takes food as the breakthrough point, records the delicious life of more than 30 Shunde people and the wonderful stories of nearly 100 Shunde dishes, and shows Shunde's distinctive and heavy regional cultural characteristics, evolution and influence, so as to present Shunde's unique humanistic temperament and spiritual genes.

In the film, attractive food and Lingnan customs are woven into a long and colorful picture, whether it's a spectacular dragon boat meal or a clean water stove made from local materials; Whether it's the bowl of rice congee where Nanyang's "self-grooming girl" returned to her native land, or the blossoming white chrysanthemums carefully cultivated by Tan Yongqiang for making soup, it reflects Shunde people's quiet and calm heart and their feelings of sticking to tradition.
