Tools/materials: pigskin, pot, clear water, knife, pepper, onion ginger, star anise, soy sauce, salt, basin, cover or plastic wrap.
1. Boil the pigskin in cold water, take it out immediately after it is rolled, and scrape the fat off the pigskin with a knife.
2. Add water, pepper, onion ginger, star anise, soy sauce and a little salt to the pot and boil.
3. Cut the pigskin into small pieces or strips, put it in a box, remove the onion, ginger and pepper from the boiling water and pour them into the box together.
4. Cover the box with a lid. If there is no cover at home, you can use plastic wrap instead, and then poke a few small holes.
5. Steam in the pot for at least one hour, take it out after steaming, cool and refrigerate for not less than 12 hours, and then cut into pieces.
