Hazelnut is cold-resistant, can survive the severe winter of -30℃, and likes humid climate. Suitable for planting in areas with annual precipitation of 700~ 1200mm. Hazelnut leaves alternate, broadly ovoid to broadly obovate, with irregular double serrations at the edges, hairless at the top, and short and soft hairs on the lower veins, 5~ 13cm long and 4 ~ 7cm; wide; Petiole length 1~2cm, densely covered with fine hairs.
