King crabs, also known as stone crabs or rock crabs, that is, crustaceans of Stone Crabs, are not real crabs, and they are mainly distributed in cold seas. Named after its huge size, it is known as the "king of crabs". It is not a kind of crab with the emperor crab (giant paramecium crab), so please don't confuse it. Because of their huge size and delicious meat, many species are widely caught as food, among which the most common is Kamchatka stone crab.
King crab is huge, with a maximum weight of 10 kg. King crabs grow slowly and live for as long as 30 years. From the appearance, the king crab is about 25 cm wide and its legs are about 1 m long, which is relatively large among crustaceans. The whole body was covered with hard thorns.
