2 eggplants

3 tbsp soy sauce

3 tbsp monosodium glutamate

1 1/2 tbsp sugar

How to make kabayaki eggplant ?

Wash and peel the eggplant, cut into 2 pieces, steam over high heat for 3-4 minutes until soft, then use a knife to slice through the center of the eggplant without cutting it off, and gently make a few cuts on the side to allow the eggplant to unfold into slices.

Pour a tbsp of oil into a frying pan. When the oil is hot, fry the eggplant on both sides until lightly golden. Pour in the seasoning and steam over low heat until only half of the sauce remains, sprinkle with white sesame seeds.
