Source: Urticaceae Pilea cavaleriei Levl. , use the whole plant as medicine. It can be harvested all year round and used fresh or dried.

The nature and flavor are sweet, light and cool.

Functions and Indications: Clear away heat and detoxify, moisten the lungs and relieve cough, reduce swelling and relieve pain. It is used for cough caused by lung heat, tuberculosis, nephritis and edema; it is used externally to treat bruises, burns and scalds, sores, boils and swelling.

Usage and dosage: 0.5 to 1 tael of whole plant. For external use, apply an appropriate amount of fresh grass to the affected area.
