National Medical Products Administration

China food and drug administration (CFDA), the People's Republic of China, is the directly affiliated institution of the State Council for comprehensive supervision and management of food safety of drugs, medical devices, cosmetics, health food and catering. It is responsible for drafting the draft laws and regulations on food safety (including food additives and health food, the same below), drugs (including traditional Chinese medicine and ethnic medicine, the same below), medical devices and cosmetics, formulating the implementation measures of food administrative licensing and supervising the implementation.
