How much did Harbin Ice and Snow World lose and how much did it lose?
Harbin Ice and Snow World is the most eye-catching tourist attraction in Northeast China every winter, and it is also the most distinctive local ice and snow theme amusement park, which attracts a large number of tourists from home and abroad. You will experience the most incomparable cool entertainment mode, but the epidemic during the Spring Festival in 2020 caused the Ice and Snow World to close for more than one and a half months. So how much money has it lost now?

Snow-white, silent, empty and lonely, the snow and snow in the north press the pause button, and giant ice sculptures are exquisitely carved in the sun, just like fairyland-this is the Harbin Ice and Snow World this winter under the lens of photographer Liu Qian. This is a moment that has never been seen in this scenic spot where tourists are woven every winter.

Due to the epidemic, the 21st Harbin Ice and Snow World announced that it would be closed on 27th of this year 1 month, which became the last day of its business this year. Although in previous years, Harbin Ice and Snow World officially announced the closing time of the park, it has not been released so far this year.

With the temperature rising in Harbin, it is almost impossible for the world of ice and snow to open its garden again in the near future. This year, Harbin Ice and Snow World only opened for 36 days. Taking the average business days of the last five sessions as a reference, the business duration is reduced by half.

"Halfway through" the number of business days, which means that the loss is doubled. Wang Haijun, the owner of a restaurant chain, rented a store with a business area of more than 100 square meters and invested more than 500,000 yuan. It was originally planned that the Spring Festival was the peak season for ice and snow tourism, and the increase in passenger flow would definitely bring good turnover, but since before the Spring Festival, tourists have gradually decreased. Now there is little hope of reopening business, and Wang Haijun has not even earned back the investment.

Before the 21st Harbin Ice and Snow World officially opened its doors on February 23rd, 20 19/kloc-0, it took tens of thousands of people 15 days to build the scenic spot. It once ranked first in the ranking of popular scenic spots for Harbin 2020 Spring Festival travel and became the most popular scenic spot in winter ice and snow tourism.

"The world of ice and snow earns four or five million yuan a day, and Harbin is resolutely closed." At the 13th press conference on the progress of joint prevention and control of novel coronavirus epidemic in Heilongjiang Province, the relevant person in charge said.

At present, in order to support cultural tourism enterprises to cope with the epidemic, relevant departments have also introduced policies such as finance, taxation, finance, project support and stabilizing and reducing burdens.

Harbin Ice and Snow World without People

1 29, two days after the announcement of the suspension of business in Harbin Ice and Snow World, photographer Liu Qian took a group of photos of the ice and snow world during the day with a drone. After Liu Qian uploaded the photos to the internet, the empty world of ice and snow made people see its other beautiful scenery, which was also regrettable.

"It's a great pity after filming the world of ice and snow without people." Photographer Liu Wei said. Carefully carved ice sculptures will never be seen by tourists again because of the epidemic.

Liu Qian, 28, had been living in Harbin until he went to college. For children born and raised in Northeast China, ice sculpture is not unusual, and so is Liu Qian. He has only been to Harbin Ice and Snow World twice, one of which was accompanied by friends from other places.

A few years ago, Liu Qian was fascinated by photography, focusing on shooting city scenery, portraits and streets with fireworks. Whenever he has the opportunity to go to a city, he will take the time to show the beauty of the city with his lens, and many of his works can always give people a bright feeling. I have been to many places, which makes Liu Qian feel the beauty of his hometown Harbin more and more. Every time he goes home, he will take pictures of his hometown that he wants others to see from a unique perspective.

On the 29th of the twelfth lunar month this year, Liu Qian returned to Harbin from his workplace in Shanghai. Before going home, he planned to take a group of photos of Harbin Ice and Snow World, and he also specially watched official website, Harbin Ice and Snow World, introduce the highlights of this session.

Liu Qian has never filmed Harbin Ice and Snow World before. The first time he filmed it was on the evening of 1 27, which was the last day of Harbin Ice and Snow World's business according to the requirements of epidemic prevention and control.

Two days later, Liu Qian went to Harbin Ice and Snow World by himself. He used the drone to shoot for two hours, consumed four batteries and took more than 30 photos of/kloc-0, leaving a special photo of Harbin Ice and Snow World in a special period.

"It invests a lot every year, and it is in the peak season of ice and snow tourism, but it is closed." Liu Wei said. Under the lens of Liu Qian, the ice sculptures in Harbin Ice and Snow World Scenic Area have lost their colorful colors at night. The 40-meter-high ice sculpture landscape "The Crown of Ice and Snow" and the maze castle have all recovered their original colors. The ice sculpture in the photo shows a faint blue color, like a fairy tale world without people.

At present, Harbin Ice and Snow World has not announced the official closure of the park, but the epidemic situation is not over yet, and the temperature in Harbin is gradually rising. It is generally believed that the hope of Harbin Ice and Snow World to continue its business in the near future is very slim, and it may be announced to close the park directly.

After only 36 days of business, the owner of the restaurant didn't make any money back.

During the Spring Festival this year, Wang Haijun, the owner of a restaurant chain operating in Harbin Ice and Snow World, thought that the sales would reach the highest point. What he didn't expect was that since years ago, the number of tourists eating in the store has gradually decreased, and Harbin Ice and Snow World was closed after 1 27, and never opened again.

"During the Spring Festival, the tourists who came to visit the world of ice and snow were the most, but this year, affected by the epidemic, business has been bad since before the Spring Festival." Wang Haijun said. Before Harbin Ice and Snow World announced the suspension of business, the turnover had already started to decline compared with the same period of last year.

Last year1February 23rd, the 21st World of Ice and Snow officially opened its garden to welcome guests after the construction of nearly 10,000 people and lasted 15 days. As of the 27th day of this year 1 month, the business was suspended due to the epidemic, with a total business of 36 days. Judging from the business days of Harbin Ice and Snow World in recent five sessions, it has the shortest business time. The 20th Harbin Ice and Snow World opened for 57 days, and the previous sessions all opened for more than 70 days. The longest session opened for 83 days, and the park closed on March 20 18 10.

When catering chain stores in Wang Haijun entered the 21st Harbin Ice and Snow World, it was estimated that the business days from opening to closing would be around 70 to 75 days, but the actual situation was that the business hours were reduced by at least half.

"More than 500,000 yuan was invested, including decoration and rent." Wang Haijun said. His shop has only been open for more than a month, and even the capital has not been earned back. His restaurant has a business area of more than 100 square meters in Harbin Ice and Snow World, and there are nearly 10 employees in the store. After the outbreak, all the employees have been arranged to work in other chain stores.

According to the official WeChat of Harbin Ice and Snow World, the catering services in the scenic spot are all imported from high-quality brands with more than 50 chain stores in China, including Oriental jiaozi King, Weidao Xi 'an, Spicy Yangyang, etc., in addition to regional specialty foods such as Mattel Popsicles, Sugar-Coated Berry, Northeast Frozen Berries, as well as iced hot pot and iced bar.

Heilongjiang will introduce support policies.

"The world of ice and snow ranks 1 as the most popular tourist spot in the Spring Festival of 2020, making it the first choice for many tourists." On February 10, at the 13th press conference on the progress of joint prevention and control of novel coronavirus epidemic in Heilongjiang Province, the relevant person in charge said, "With the development and changes of the epidemic, Harbin has closed cultural and entertainment venues and scenic spots successively, and the world of ice and snow earns four or five million yuan a day, and Harbin has resolutely closed down."

20 191February 23rd, the first day of opening the 21st Harbin Ice and Snow World Park, the number of people entering the park reached 7,000, and the ticket income was1785,000. Both the number of people entering the park and the ticket revenue are the highest in recent years.

According to the data released by Harbin Ice and Snow World, the number of tourists received in the past five years has exceeded one million, and the operating income is about 300 million yuan.

On February 23rd, in order to support the cultural tourism enterprises in Heilongjiang Province to cope with the epidemic, the Department of Culture and Tourism of Heilongjiang Province issued the Notice on Making Full Use of the Relevant Support Policies of the State and Our Province during the Prevention and Control of COVID-19 Epidemic, which sorted out the policies applicable to the cultural tourism enterprises in this province, such as fiscal and tax support, financial support, project support and stabilizing enterprises and reducing burdens.

According to the relevant person in charge of Harbin Ice and Snow World, due to the epidemic situation, it has not yet resumed work, and the relevant losses can only be calculated after the resumption of work.
