Zhaoyang District No.2 Middle School was founded in September, 1974. Is a public complete middle school, from 1977 to a complete middle school.
The school headquarters (formerly Zhaoyang No.2 Middle School) is located in the center of Zhaotong, adjacent to the "Bajiaoting", covering an area of 1 1 mu; North Campus (formerly No.5 Middle School in Zhaoyang District) is located at No.68 Longquan Road, Zhaoyang District, 3 kilometers away from the urban area, covering an area of 16.3 mu. Faculty 199, including 25 senior teachers, 93 intermediate teachers and 54 junior teachers.
