What to do in Chengdu

My three favorite places are Jinli Street, Wide Narrow Alley and People's Park.

1. Jinli Ancient Street: This is an ancient street full of the cultural atmosphere of the Three Kingdoms, located in the vicinity of Chengdu Wuhou Temple. Here, you can see a large number of antique buildings and feel the ancient atmosphere. Both sides of the ancient street are filled with various commercial facilities, such as teahouses, bars, and specialty restaurants, providing tourists with abundant consumption choices. Here, you can taste Chengdu's specialties, such as rabbit head, bowl of chicken, steamed beef and so on, to satisfy your taste buds. Jinli Ancient Street is even more lively at night. The streets are crowded with people, and the water pavilions are dotted with red lanterns, giving it a classical flavor. Here you can enjoy the beautiful night scenery and feel the charm of Chengdu's nightlife. At the same time, it is also a good place to take photos and make good memories.

2. Broad and Narrow Alley: This is an ancient street with a long history, which was built in the Qing Dynasty. It consists of three quaint streets and courtyards in between, namely Broad Alley, Narrow Alley and Well Alley, which are lined with Chengdu's specialty snacks, cafes and bistros. Here you can taste authentic Chengdu food and feel the atmosphere of Chengdu life. In the Broad and Narrow Alley, you can also experience the bowl of tea, ear-picking, Sichuan opera face-changing and other special folklore programs, and gain a deeper understanding of Chengdu's customs and culture. Strolling along this ancient street, it is as if you have traveled back in time to the ancient Chengdu, so that you can feel the historical heritage of Chengdu.

3. People's Park: Built in 1911, this park is one of the favorite leisure places for Chengdu citizens. Here you can see the leisurely daily life of the people of old Chengdu, who enjoy their leisure time by drinking Gai Bowl Tea, rubbing Sichuan hemp, getting high on melon seeds, and posing for Dragon Gate Formation. People's Park is covered with green trees and has a beautiful environment. Lying on the rattan chairs and feeling the warm sunshine, you can forget the fatigue of work and study and experience the leisurely rhythm of life of the locals. Here you can relax and enjoy the slow time, which is a good place for tourists to experience the leisure life in Chengdu.
