Xiangshui rice is a specialty of Ning'an County, Mudanjiang City, Heilongjiang Province, and is specifically produced in Bohai Town, Ning'an City. It is rice produced on volcanic lava platform. It is the only rice produced on volcanic lava platform in the world. Xiangshui rice is famous for its plump grains, hard texture, bluish-white color, soft texture and fragrant aroma.
