I remember the first time I ate betel nut, all of my mouth tastebuds were numbed out. Then again, I was able to taste a little bit of sourness and a little bit of stimulation of the sense of taste. So it was a lot of sensations. After that, I ate it a few times later in order to taste such a stimulating taste sensation. And then later on, it just didn't feel good anymore, so I stopped eating it.
