What is a range hood?
The emergence of side range hoods is a new generation of environmental protection "kitchen fume purifier" specially designed for China people's kitchen structure and cooking habits. The oil smoke absorption rate (greater than 99%) and oil smoke purification rate (greater than 90%) of the range hood are truly quantified. Among these two indicators, the former indicates the percentage of oil fume generated when the range hood is used to remove cooking. The latter represents the percentage of oil fume filtered by the filter plate of the range hood. These two precise indexes are closely replaced by a fuzzy index in the manual of traditional range hood-wind pressure coefficient.

Technically speaking, the discharge of general oil fume is related to two indicators.

1: working distance (the distance from the wok mouth to the air inlet of the range hood): 650-700mm for the traditional ceiling range hood and 100 mm for the side range hood. ..

2. Air inlet size (the plane area of the air inlet of the range hood): The traditional range hood is generally 300 square centimeters (about 600 double air inlets), while the air inlet of the side range hood is nearly 2,000 square centimeters. In these two indicators, the traditional range hood and the side range hood are completely opposite, so the effect of the side range hood is definitely greater than 99%, while the traditional range hood can only reach 70-85%. It is this 70-85% index that has brought troubles to users of traditional range hoods. Because according to the aerodynamic principle, the oil fume collecting ability of all range hoods is only within the range of 30-40cm of the air inlet, and the working distance of traditional range hoods can only be 650-700 cm above the head due to the design concept. This is also the reason why the design concept of side-suction range hood must be changed, and the reason why the ceiling air inlet is changed to the side air inlet. Therefore, the design of side-suction range hood is to lower the air inlet to the place where oil fume is produced.

Exhaust range hood is similar to side range hood.
