List of Ingredients

One Golden Butternut Squash

Onion, diced half

Celery, diced two small

Potato, diced one

Bacon 3-5 strips

Salt in moderation

Pepper in moderation

Nutmeg Powder in moderation< /p>

1 tbsp flour

1-2 tbsp olive oil

8-12 cups of water

Cooking Steps

1/4

Bacon is fried crispy in a flat pan, cooled and rolled into small pieces, and finally served with soup sprinkled on top!

2/4

Butternut squash peeled, seeded and cut into large chunks. Dice celery, onion, and potatoes the same size; (to add flavor and consistency, or simplify and omit) Heat olive oil in a deep pot, sauté the diced bits, add pumpkin chunks and sauté, add 8-12 cups of water, bring to a boil and simmer for about 39 minutes.

3/4

Meanwhile, in the oil left over from Bacon, add the flour and sauté on low heat until golden brown.

Final step

Stirring constantly; mix well with a handheld blender, if too thick, add water and put in pretzel nutmeg powder. Serve in soup pots and grits into Bacon pieces! So flavorful!
