Weed beans are usually planted in the open ground in summer, around June-August in the Yangtze River Valley, and around June or January in North China. Seeds germinate fastest in January, and the soil can be turned over before sowing to increase soil permeability and drainage. Do not water after sowing.

Weed beans are usually planted by direct seeding, or open furrow or hole sowing, with a row spacing of 40-60cm, and a row spacing of 100-130cm. each pit can plant about 3-4 seeds, and only two plants can be left in each pit after the weed beans have emerged.

2. Management:

After selecting a good planting site, the weeds in the soil should be removed, and then combined with tilling, applying about 3,000kg of fertilizer per acre, plus a small amount of chemical fertilizer, raking, so that the soil and fertilizer are mixed evenly.

1. Watering:

Meidou need less water, can be a small amount of watering. You can water 1-2 times during the stretching period, and once every 10 days during the pod-blooming period.

2. Weeding:

Weeding must be done properly after watering to prevent flowers and fruits from falling. A small amount of thin fertilizer should be applied before flowering, and can be applied again after flowering and podding. Fertilizer nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium fertilizer dosage must be reasonably matched.
