The fluorescent whitening agent can absorb invisible ultraviolet light and then convert it into blue visible light with longer wavelength. However, the pen we use every day contains invisible ultraviolet light. The samples were irradiated with a common violet pen, and the common paper towel was lavender, while the sample containing the mobile fluorescent whitening agent was blue.
