The pain of angina pectoris generally occurs in the process of inducing factors, not afterwards. The common inducing factors of angina pectoris are overwork, emotional excitement (anxiety and anger), cold stimulation, excessive tension, overeating and so on.

The pain often increases gradually, lasts for 3 ~ 5 minutes and gradually disappears, rarely exceeding 15 minutes. Pain can occur many times a day, usually every few days or weeks.

Angina pectoris attacks under some inducement, and gets better quickly after resting quietly or removing the relevant inducement. The sublingual administration of nitroglycerin has obvious effect, and it usually relieves within 1 ~ 2 minutes.
