Coal disease will not only cause black patches on a large area of bergamot trees, but also affect the growth and development of plants, and even cause the plants to wither and die. Therefore, we must pay attention to the harm of coal disease when raising bergamot bonsai, and we can use thin tobacco lime water to prevent it, and we should also pay attention to ventilation and light indoors.
3. Rational fertilization
Fertilizer environment is an important condition for cultivating bergamot bonsai. According to the age and quality of bergamot, the amount and time of fertilization are different. In the early stage of planting, it is indispensable to apply organic fertilizer once a month from March to August, and topdressing should be carried out three times a year after entering the fruit period. Phosphorus, potassium fertilizer or compound fertilizer can be added, and urea can also be used as topdressing raw material.
4. Water and moisturize
The bonsai of bergamot likes to grow in moist soil, so when raising bergamot, it must be watered frequently, mainly on the principle of a few times. When the temperature is high, it is necessary to spray water mist on the leaves once in the morning and once in the evening to maintain the color of the leaves of the branches. Pay attention to the amount of watering in rainy days to prevent the root rot caused by accumulated water.
