Litsea cubeba oil, also known as mountain pepper oil and Litsea cubeba oil, is an essential oil extracted from Litsea cubeba fruit by steam distillation or subcritical biotechnology. Litsea cubeba oil, as a condiment, is a seasoning oil diluted from Litsea cubeba essential oil and edible vegetable oil. It has the fragrance of lemon, and has the effects of removing fishy smell, improving taste and increasing freshness. This paper mainly introduces the application of litsea cubeba oil as perfume.
