Anhui fish and grass carp is a kind of fish.

Morphological Characteristics

Body elongate, subcylindrical anteriorly, laterally compressed caudally, abdomen rounded, without ventral ribs. Head broad, moderately large, slightly flattened anteriorly. The muzzle is short and blunt, and the muzzle length is slightly larger than the eye diameter. Mouth terminal, slit wide, mouth width larger than mouth length. Maxillae slightly longer than mandibles, maxillae terminating below nostrils. Postlabial sulcus interrupted, widely spaced. Eyes large, situated in the anterior half of the lateral part of the head. Interoculars wide, slightly convex, spacing between eyes about three times more than the diameter of the eyes.
