In the heyday of Yongxuan celadon, the number and influence of the chicken heart cup was even more than another superb cup shape "pressure hand cup", is one of the most exquisite and representative of the celadon wares at that time.

In fact, the same rounded mouth, deep curved wall, small foot, similar cups in the Song and Yuan also appeared in large quantities, just not as famous as the Yongxuan chicken heart cup. Although in the early Ming Dynasty flourished, the later dynasty burned but not much, only in the Yongzheng Qianlong when there are imitation, but now it is not easy to see.

Yongxuan burned chicken heart cup, there are three sizes, large, medium and small, may be the design of the early influence of foreign habits, even if it is small, compared to other cups are also relatively large, like a bowl, so in a variety of materials are mostly known as the "chicken heart bowl". And the name is taken from the shape, especially the center of the cup concave pointed bottom, the bottom slightly convex, like a chicken heart.

But now known as the chicken heart cup, in fact, there are Yongle and Xuande two kinds. From the type of view, Yongle's wall is thin and light, the foot is shorter; Xuande feel a little heavier, the foot is slightly higher, but the difference is not very obvious. But the decoration can be seen on some of the characteristics of the era, to the "lotus petal pattern" as an example, Yongle lotus petal pattern single body slender, Xuande is a double layer of short and wide lotus petals. Either way, today it seems to be a blue and white heirloom.

With such a classic type of ware, the Jingshan Hidden Kiln was a must. For example, the original Yongxuan chicken heart cup inside the foot ring has a convex tip shaped like a chicken heart, we have made some improvements, more in line with modern habits, increased practicality, but also bring a better grip. The shape of the cup is there, and then there is the painting. For us, who focus on Kangxi blue and white, the technical aspect is no longer the key, but the ancient charm of the painting is the key. And this time we take "Yongle blue and white chicken heart bowl" as a copy, a cup combines six kinds of decorations, such as Baoxiang flower pattern, lotus petal pattern, Haitao pattern, back pattern, money pattern, string pattern, etc., the level is very much but sparse and dense, very atmospheric pale ancient. Therefore, this is not just a bunch of decorations together, we need to restore the aesthetic of the ancients, in order to appropriately express the then scholars and sages on the vessel and the painting of the interest, it is not difficult, took a lot of trouble. Luckily, this heart, everyone is very recognized.
