The original owner of Bagua Building is Lin Heshou, a three-room Lin family in Banqiao, Taiwan Province, and it was designed by Dr. John Abraham Otte, a Dutch-American and former president of Gulangyu Salvation Hospital. I used some classical architectural styles from Palestinian, Greek, Italian and China for reference, and designed this unique antique building which combines the eastern and western architectural cultures.

2. Trinity Hall

The main building of Sanyitang was basically completed in 1934 (for various reasons, the renovation of the octagonal bell tower on the ceiling and roof was postponed to 1945 autumn). 1935 65438+200818, the presidents' association of the three associations was held in Xiamen YMCA, and Xiamen District Council also sent people to participate. The meeting decided to name the new church "Trinity Church", which not only means the joint construction of the three churches, but also contains the doctrine of the Trinity of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Trinity Hall in Gulangyu Island is an excellent building in modern times. On May 25th, 2006, it was announced by the State Council as the sixth batch of national key cultural relics protection units.

3. Xinzhuang Garden

Liu Zhuang Garden, built in 19 13, is located in the south of Gulangyu Island, facing the sea and backed by Sunlight Rock. It was originally the private villa of a famous local gentleman, Lin Erjia. The owner named the park after the homonym of the word "Uncle Zang", and dedicated it as a park on 1955. Longzhuang Garden is cleverly laid out by using natural terrain. The whole park is divided into two parts: Tibetan Sea Garden and Bushan Garden. The scenery is scattered and orderly. The garden is on the sea, and the sea is in the garden, which not only has the exquisite elegance of Jiangnan courtyard, but also has the grandeur of seagulls flying. Dynamic and static contrast complement each other. There are forty-four bridges and twelve caves in the park.
