The exhibition "Clouds at the Bottom of the Pen —— Liu Haisu and His Sketch of Huangshan Mountain" shows more than 30 paintings of Huangshan Mountain by Liu Haisu, including the scene data of Hai Lao Huangshan's sketch, the artistic video of Jiushang Huangshan Mountain and the abstract of his Huangshan Art Record. These are important artistic achievements that run through Liu Haisu's entire artistic career, and have had a far-reaching impact on the artistic creation of China's modern art history.

Liu Haisu Documentary Literature Exhibition on Sketch of Colorado Grand Canyon, USA

Exhibition period: 1 month 15 to February 28th.

Venue: Exhibition Hall 2, Liu Haisu Art Museum

1990 In May, Liu Haisu was ninety-five years old when he went to the Colorado Grand Canyon in Arizona to sketch. However, Hai Lao still created two oil paintings and a Chinese painting, taking the Grand Canyon as the body and taking himself as the spirit. His style and spirit are abundant on the picture scroll!

202 1 year coincides with the 25th anniversary of Liu Haisu's birth/kloc-0. In particular, I would like to thank Mr. Zhang Shanli, an overseas Chinese, for donating the precious first-hand photos and video materials when Liu Haisu went to the Grand Canyon to sketch and paint, and Mr. Long Gu for his matchmaking, so that people have the opportunity to understand this little-known history. "Returning from Huangshan Mountain and Climbing to the Top —— Documentary Literature Exhibition of Liu Haisu's American Colorado Grand Canyon Sketch" will restore Liu Haisu's three days and nights of sketching in the Grand Canyon through images and documents.

Hai Weng, who eventually became a veteran of the maritime art world, had a lot of contacts with the predecessors, peers and younger generations of the seal cutting world, and the quantity and quality of his seals were one of the few people on the sea. Hai Lao's name, Zhai Guan's nickname, collection seal and leisure chapter that witnessed his life's artistic purport are all gathered here brilliantly.

Text in Hall 6-Liu Haisu and His Sketch of Huangshan Mountain

Exhibition: Long-term exhibition

Venue: Exhibition Hall 6, Liu Haisu Art Museum

1In the early 1920s, Liu Haisu, as the young president of the Art College of Fine Arts, chose Kang Youwei as his teacher to learn calligraphy in order to meet the artistic pulse of the calligraphy of the times. In fact, he also inherited Kang's artistic proposition of seeking change to innovate and his practical thought of social change.

He took Chinese as the body, used books to paint, and embraced Chinese and Western styles, integrating China's linear aesthetic comprehension of calligraphy into the creative practice of Chinese and Western paintings and the expanding social practice of modern art schools.
