1. Put copper utensils
First put the snails into a basin filled with clean water, and put some copper utensils into the basin, such as fruit knives, scissors, frying spoons, etc. If you smell the smell of copperware, you will spit out all the fine sand. On the second day, you will find that the copperware is covered with snails. Not only is a layer of soil spitted out by the snails sinking into the basin, but the mother snail will also give birth to many snail pups, which are usually cooked during frying. When cleaning, the tip of the tail should be cut off and then washed.
2. Soak in salt
Put the snails you bought into a basin, rinse them with cold water a few times, and then add salt to the water. If you feel the water is very salty, However, the snails in salt water will absorb moisture and vomit mud due to the irritation of the salt. Soak them for about 4 hours, change the water once, then add a little salt, soak again, and observe whether the snails will spit out dirt again. For sand, if the water is still dirty after about 10 minutes, it means that the sediment is still not spit out and needs to be soaked again. If the water is very clean, it means that the sediment has been spit out.
3. Soaking in sesame oil
Put an appropriate amount of sesame oil into a basin filled with water, stir evenly and then pour in the snails. The water level should be higher than the snails. The snails will smell the aroma. Spit out the dirt in the belly, then put it in a cool place to let the snails spit out mud. Change the water 1-2 times a day. After pouring out the residue in the water, pour cold water again. After filling the water, you need to add sesame oil and soak it for basically 2 days. It can be further processed.
4. Cut off the tail and pull out the snail
First cut off the tail of the snail, cover it with two drain baskets, shake it front and back, left and right, and rotate it like sifting rice, repeat for 5-10 times In minutes, the mud and dirt inside and outside the snail will be spit out. Then put it into the water to wash out a lot of mud and small broken shells of the snail. After washing, take it out and repeat it several times until the washed water is clean.
