Corn starch production methods and steps
Corn starch is an important raw material for chemical food, but also a must for urban and rural people to live a good, it rains to introduce the production method of corn starch:

1, the selection of materials for making corn starch

Requirement to use clean, free of impurities, not moldy, moisture content generally does not exceed 14% of the corn.

2, the screening method of corn starch

The corn enters the vibrating screen through the ascending machine.

The vibrating screen has three layers of sieve holes, the top first layer of sieve holes for 20 millimeters, the second layer of 10 millimeters, the third layer of 5 millimeters.

Corn after three layers of screening to remove dust and impurities, the purity is generally not less than 98.5%.

3, corn starch soaking method

Screened corn after one cleaning, and then through the ascender into the vat.

The vat is filled with water and soaked for 72 hours.

Some sodium sulfite is added appropriately during the soaking process to promote the softening of the corn.

4, the corn starch production of dialing away from the embryo

After the vat soaking corn has been softened, with the elevator will be transported into the vertical mill for crushing embryo.

The vertical mill crushes the corn so that the embryo (corn navel) is removed from the endosperm, thus extracting the embryo.

The crushed corn goes into the horizontal mill.

The raised corn embryo then enters the fryer through the elevator to fry the corn oil.

5, corn starch crushing horizontal mill

The corn after the embryo, through the elevator into the horizontal mill for the second crushing, the corn into slurry.

The finely ground slurry enters the flow plate and settles.

After 4 hours of settling, corn starch is formed.

6, the drying method of corn starch

Using the scraper dryer, the starch is dried.

Generally after 4 hours of processing, you can produce qualified products.

Quality requirements of the finished product: ash content shall not exceed 0.1%. Fat content shall not exceed 0.15%, spotting shall not exceed 2%, protein content shall not exceed 0.5% and acidity shall not exceed 20%.

7, corn starch bagging method

The finished starch produced should be bagged in time.

Generally use manual bagging, 25 kg per standard bag.
