The reason why we start with this is to tell you that, as long as we can remember, all the film and television dramas, fairy tales and legends about Bao Zheng have been screened by directors or authors, who think they are most suitable for Bao Zheng now. Unlike history, there is no difference between good and bad. How can we talk about destroying the three views?
Why did you talk about this topic? Mainly because I recently fell in love with the TV series "Kaifeng House" starring Jeong Yeop. I just saw the barrage screen, and what came to my face was a spit: "What the hell?" "Destroy the Three Views" and "Destroy Bao Zheng" and so on. Of course, I don't comment on this view. Personally, I prefer to comment after watching the play. In fact, after watching this drama, I really like it from the bottom of my heart and appreciate Jeong Yeop's humanized Bao Zheng.
Why do you love this play so much?
First, the plot arrangement is reasonable, and Bao Zheng portrayed is more inclined to humanity than divinity. At the beginning of the plot, it is said that Bao Zheng is the old son of his parents, born in darkness, and his parents are afraid. He was abandoned by his father in the wilderness, and hungry wolves didn't eat. His brother passed by and saw his poor son and took him home to raise him. When Bao Zheng was a child, he was so stupid that he couldn't count the numbers. I was often told by my sister-in-law until I was killed in a well. Although he had a crescent moon, he still didn't change his original intention, but the plot took a turning point here. Undeniably, the author also endowed some mythical features at the beginning. Hungry wolves don't eat, but the plot develops more rationally, tends to be human, black and afraid, and embodies human nature; Congenital deficiency, and then understand the essence, is to tell everyone that no one is perfect, and God is not perfect.
Second, respect history, those who conform to the times are prosperous, and those who go against the times are hurt. When Bao Zheng lived in Song Renzong, the director described the background of his life, the characters and events of the court and courtiers. In this context, he described how Bao Zheng tried this complicated case. In good times, the case of civet cats changing into princes exposed the conspiracy of eight princes, won the appreciation and trust of the first emperor, and left orphans at the end of his life; After Liu E came to power, he took advantage of the situation to slay his uncle. Break the imperial fire and help the emperor to take power; Adversity is cheating in the examination room, which shows weakness for Fan Zhongyan's demotion. In the case that Chen Shimei abandoned his wife, although it was difficult to kill Chen Shimei, he had no choice but to pay a heavy price by destroying his family.
Third, Ai En's love and hate, human nature. Bao Zheng had three important women in her life. The first is his sister-in-law, who raised him and fulfilled him. For his sister-in-law, Bao Zheng has the grace of nurturing, teaching and guilt. After his son Bao Mian died because of Chen Shimei's case, he tried to commit suicide; The second is his wife's Dragon Boat Festival, who accompanied him since childhood, gave birth to a son for him, and finally died for repaying his kindness. For the Dragon Boat Festival, Bao Zheng has a sense of respect, husband and wife, and also a sense of guilt, so when he learned that the Dragon Boat Festival proposed to Yu Rou for him, he resolutely refused Yu Rou; In order to trace the Chen Shimei case, it is even more embarrassing to let the Dragon Boat Festival die innocently; The third is the only person he has ever loved, Yu Rou, because times can't be together, but Yu Rou always helps him in officialdom. For Yu Rou, Bao Zheng has a feeling of admiration and appreciation, which is also the driving force for him to realize his life ambition. It is these three women who have enriched Bao Zheng's life feelings, made Bao Zheng rebellious, persistent, selective and loving, and also made Bao Zheng have human relations.
Generally speaking, Bao Zheng written by Zheng Ye is a brand-new human image with flesh and blood and feelings. Jeong Yeop's portrayal of characters in this way also captures the contemporary people's psychology of breaking superstition and worshiping themselves more.
So this goes back to what I said at the beginning. Bao Zheng was born in different times, and people have different interpretations of him. From a historical perspective, the evolution of Bao Zheng's image is a process of change from man to god and then to man.
But no matter how it evolves, I can't stop liking this totally unconventional, approachable, human and truly eccentric Bao Zheng.
Impressive lines:
Yu Rou: I like you, with a black face and a black heart.
Bao Zheng: I am a human being, and I have feelings.
