Herba Artemisiae Scopariae is the dry aerial part of Herba Artemisiae Scopariae or Herba Artemisiae Scopariae in Compositae. Spring harvest is called "cotton wormwood" and autumn harvest is called "flower wormwood". Has the effects of clearing away damp-heat, promoting gallbladder function and eliminating jaundice. Indications: jaundice, oliguria, damp-heat, summer-heat-dampness, wet sores and itching.

Yinchenhao decoction

Composition and usage: Artemisia capillaris 18g, Gardenia 15g (disassembled), and rhubarb 6g (peeled). The first three flavors, water 1.2 liter, first boil 600 ml of Herba Artemisiae Scopariae, then take two flavors, and then boil 300 ml for three servings. Urine is profitable, such as acacia juice, the color is red, which decreases after one night, and the yellow is far from childhood.

Indications: clearing away heat and promoting diuresis, and eliminating jaundice. Damp-heat jaundice, yellow body, bright orange color, slightly full abdomen, dry mouth, adverse urination, yellow greasy tongue coating, heavy or slippery pulse.

Chen Yin Wuling powder

Composition and usage: Artemisia capillaris powder 30g, Wuling powder 15g. Serve two flavors and mix well. 6 grams each time, three times a day, with rice on an empty stomach.

Indications: It is used to treat damp-heat jaundice, where dampness is heavier than heat and urination is unfavorable.

Remarks: Wuling Powder consists of Polyporus umbellatus 10g (peeled), Alisma orientalis 15g, Atractylodes macrocephala 10g, Poria cocos 10g, and Ramulus Cinnamomi 7g (peeled).
