Thrush (scientific name: Turdus merula) is a bird belonging to the genus Thrush, which is distributed in Europe, Africa and Asia. It often lives in the periphery of forest areas, on the edge of towns and villages, even in melon fields, and also in Ping Ye, gardens and trees, and sometimes feeds near garbage dumps and toilets.
It is an omnivorous bird whose food includes insects, earthworms, seeds and berries. The male blackbird is black except for the yellow eyes and beak. Female and newborn blackbirds do not have yellow eyes, but have brown feathers and beaks. The blackbird is the national bird of Sweden.
habitat
It mainly inhabits secondary forests, broad-leaved forests, mixed coniferous and broad-leaved forests and coniferous forests. You can meet them from hundreds of meters to 4500 meters above sea level, especially like to live in the periphery of forest areas, sparse forests on the edge of forests, Woods beside farmland, orchards and the edges of villages and towns, and between plain grasslands or gardens.
