1, July 15th, is also one of the three major ghost festivals in China. Legend has it that in the seventh month of the lunar calendar, when the gates of hell are wide open, these ghosts can accept sacrifices from the world. On the 15th day of July, people will come to the graves of deceased relatives and offer paper burning. Some people burn paper for their relatives on the roadside if it is inconvenient to go home. One is to commemorate the deceased relatives, and the other is to give some paper money to the deceased relatives and provide some help in life. Legend has it that this paper money can be circulated in the underworld, so it is called "Mingbi".
